## Position Summary: ## The Digital Strategist supports the strategy department in the development of marketing initiatives across all interactive and technology driven projects that meet client marketing and business objectives. The Digital Strategist demonstrates leadership skills, understands how to research and uncover key customer and business insights to help inform the correct marketing solutions. The Digital Strategist is highly versed in digital, mobile and 360-degree integrated marketing strategies. ## Responsibilities: ## - Serve as strategic lead for select digital projects to both client and internal teams - Supports the agency team in digital project development and ensures delivery of high-quality work product standards - Works cross-functionally with clients, technology, IA, creative and project management to deliver on marketing strategy - Conducts analysis of web/campaign metrics to identify and derive key insights regarding key online customer trends and behavior and recommends strategies to maximize integrated marketing campaign results - Leads the development of Digital Dx analysis, including reviewing the competitive, and social and market landscape, drawing strategic conclusions and making recommendations based on research findings - Monitors and measures the success of community engagements for clients with social media programs, serving as the primary contact in charge of ongoing social media communications, monitoring, and reporting on customer insights through both qualitative and quantitative analysis Note: Employee is responsible for other duties as assigned. ## Requirements: ## - Experience in search engine marketing, social networking, interactive marketing, and web/campaign analytics ideally in the business to consumer (B2C) marketing arena. - Familiar with social media sites and how to use them to drive brand awareness, engagement, and traffic to a website/landing pages/social media pages and a strong understanding of social media in relation to broader media mix; understanding of the interplay between online/social media and traditional media. - Strong knowledge of user-generated content, web video, and viral marketing on the web. - An understanding of web/campaign analytics, including usage of various analytics tools and software programs - An understanding of interactive marketing technologies, including HTML5 - Experience conducting and analyzing digital and web research - Solid proficiency working with research and data-intensive initiatives, including development and use of spreadsheets - Ability to present thoughts both verbally and visually through the use of PowerPoint and Word - Strong interpersonal skills - Ability to define objectives and work with a team to develop a cohesive strategy that drives campaign and business results - Able to work on multiple strategic assignments at once - Passionate and focused on digital marketing and engagement concepts and methodologies and able to speak with credibility and conviction as to how to apply any in particular to a client’s business. - Possesses exceptional written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines - Motivated, self-starter ## Qualifications: ## - Education: Bachelors or master’s degree with a concentration in marketing or related field - Experience: 3+ years of experience in digital and interactive marketing strategies
